How to attract luck in your life? Positive psychology argues that luck may attract to your side. Often a person wonders how to make luck more often? Let's see what people mean by luck? And what is a happy occasion - reality or a dream? Luck is an event positively perceived by an individual that arises as a result of an unpredictable, probabilistic process or a set of circumstances in life. Luck is synonymous with luck, chance, partly happiness. Luck is also the object of desire, as well as the subject of prejudice, everyone dreams about it, many wish for each other, but psychologists warn and note that it is necessary to be prepared for success. It is believed that there are two types of lucky ones: “manna from heaven” fell on them (a fateful meeting, a lottery prize, an inexplicable cure); and those who "collect" favorable circumstances and consider their birth under a lucky star. Psychologist Philip Gabiye believes that these assertions are necessary additions, otherwise the person will remain in the framework of fatalism and magic. Indeed, random luck happens, but there is another kind of luck that can be brought closer and cultivated. This kind of luck is available to everyone.
For example, Richard Weisman, a psychologist from the British Hertfordshire University, studying hundreds of successful people, found that there are two types of luck: psychological, which appears after a volitional decision and the formulation of a consciously personal position and passive, for example, lottery winnings.
His first discovery is expressed in the fact that the luck of the first kind is capable of renewing, therefore it is also called long-term success.
Both types of luck have five components:
- timely meeting with the right person;
- key information, which turned out to be just the way;
- openness to everything new and acquisition of positive experience;
- a fateful event and an unexpected request that violates the usual course of life.
