Tears are a completely physiological process that occurs when certain factors, such as hitting a foreign object in the eye, physical or emotional pain, as well as other strong experiences. But often people are completely helpless in situations where they try to understand why sometimes they want to cry for no reason.
This happens when, having logically analyzed the situation, he realizes that there are no reasons for sadness, but the rising tears and a lump in my throat indicate the opposite. Here we are dealing not with the absence of reasons for frustration and its expression in tears, but with an unawareness of the traumatic processes. It often happens that our psyche uses rationalization and explains even the frustrating things from the point of view of necessity and even usefulness, while at the same time the subconscious mind continues to resist, injure and scream that something is not going on with causeless tears.
Understanding why I always want to cry, it is necessary to analyze not what is now, but also take into account the entire life history of a person. Rolling tears may indicate stress accumulated over the years, or they may speak of impending troubles, concerns about which are forbidden on a conscious level. In some cases, you can figure it out on your own or, after talking with friends, if you feel that there is no way out, then it makes sense to make an appointment with a psychotherapist and find out your true reasons for crying at a specialized session, and then develop a plan to stabilize the situation.
The reasons why I want to cry
If you do not take into account the basic and understandable causes of crying (when it is a critical or painful situation, when a person is confronted with helplessness, etc.), then you can look at the problematic wider and notice the multiple factors that cause tears. So a long state of stress and neurosis, staying in negative situations and the atmosphere gradually depletes the nervous system. This micro tension, which is present in our life as a constant background, is a bad mood of a boss, who suffers from the surrounding people, rudeness in public transport, the unceremoniousness of some friends, weather conditions and occasional minor troubles. The more such trifles, in combination, are regularly present in the life of a particular person, the higher the likelihood that a minor unpleasant event, such as a break in a store, can cause a tantrum. This does not mean that a person has lost adequacy or he really hurt from closed doors - this is the result of a long accumulated tension.
Strong stress in recent times may make you cry periodically. Such a reaction is caused by melodies, films, words of passers-by, even smells and colors, indirectly reminiscent of what happened. Stress has both positive and negative colors and when a person constantly cries after the death of a loved one, everyone understands him, supports him and even tears from scratch find an excuse. In the case of positive events, such as a wedding or the birth of a child, the psyche can react in a similar way, no one expects tears due to positive, albeit stressful emotions.
Hormonal disruptions can increase both physical and emotional sensitivity. This is especially clear to women, but this may be in violation of the thyroid gland and other hormones, as well as during pregnancy. When a person with hormonal disorders gets into a situation of emotional stress or stress, his psyche is not ready to resist and perceives what is happening as catastrophic events, giving out a crying reaction, respectively.
Affective spectrum disorders such as depression and apathy provoke excessive tearfulness and require a medical correction of the condition. Hidden forms of such disorders can manifest themselves in human questions, why I want to cry, but it does not work. The inability to release albeit incomprehensible emotions indicates the depth of psychological trauma or mental disorders.
Why do you want to cry in church
Tears in the walls of the temple are not something unique, but the reasons for this do not lie in the realm of the supernatural. These emotional reactions are understandable from a psychological point of view. So a believer, coming to the temple, opens his soul and emotional sphere. Usually we come either for help or with repentance - in both cases the human psyche is vulnerable to any words. Therefore, the words of the sermon can raise their own sense of shame or guilt for their sins.
If a person comes to be forgiven by higher powers, then the feeling of guilt in him is so strong that no one is able to free them from this experience. It is impossible to live with a sense of guilt, it eats from the inside, and when it arrives at the church, it becomes brighter, all the misdeeds seem even more terrible against the background of the goodness of the temple. Following the actualization of his poor condition, a person who sincerely asks for deliverance and receives it can again begin to cry, now from positive emotions. This is similar to the positive and negative stress experienced in ordinary life.
The second component of an acute emotional reaction is that the atmosphere of the church contrasts strongly with the surrounding reality. The world begins to seem more brutal and imperfect, and the place of service on its background is even more consecrated. People usually in such places are not rude, listen to each other, help or just treat them with patience. Not finding such support from outside for a long time, a person can be touched to the depth of the soul by such manifestations.
Coming to the wake, people mourn again their loved ones, and if at home the memory of them can be experienced calmly, then in the church you can usually communicate with those who have left, listen to the blessing about their ears, which ultimately creates the feeling that a person is alive, but just long away. Having lost someone once and finding him again, we experience joy, but the stress response of the body is so strong that it is expressed in tears. This is what happens during the liturgies and even when the candle is lit for the rest.
Why does a pregnant woman want to cry
The crying of pregnant women is a normal state, which neither doctors, relatives, nor pregnant women are surprised by, but it is rather difficult to endure it and you want to understand what caused it. Initially, the physiological component plays its role, namely, a change in the hormonal background, and it is so strong that the body experiences great stress. Each cell and organ system begins to work in a special mode when sensitivity to any environmental influences is increased.
Additional stress add constant experiences associated with their condition and the condition of the baby. Attachment to a child is being formed, and for many it is still impossible to see this feeling of anxiety and care, but only increased sensitivity and anxiety, manifested by tears. For many, a change in self-perception and self-esteem is inherent, since new roles are now being added for this.
A huge number of fears that pursue a woman throughout life, during pregnancy, are not only actualized, but increase and attract new ones. The watched program can make you worry all day long, screw yourself up to the worst predictions and, accordingly, cry for nothing. But only the absence of the true cause of crying can be seen solely by analyzing the situation or by helping loved ones, explaining that all is well.
Of the psychological components that provoke tears, this is entry into complete obscurity. A woman understands that now her body will change, relationships with a man, work and the ability to provide for themselves, core activities and even the regime. There will be nothing more that clearly corresponds to her previous life, but understanding how the new round will look like, stages and especially details have not yet appeared. Here all the existential crises and fears associated with the unknown arise, and therefore, it is possible to reduce the number of tears as much as possible by defining and organizing the new space of the future.
How to get rid of the habit of crying
When a person starts crying for no particular reason and for any reason, then we are talking about the formed habit of responding in this way. Perhaps, once a person regretted, removed the blame, took away his work for himself, or something else good and profitable happened after he burst into tears - this causes the mindset that it is possible to solve problems in this way.
In order to reshape your reactions, you need to start working with the emotional sphere. For example, if tears come up from a feeling of resentment, then this feeling should be considered from the position that you are not satisfied with the current situation and look for the best ways to resolve it. If tears begin to come from feeling guilty or imperfect, it is necessary to adequately assess the situation. When there really is a mistake, you need to ask for forgiveness and think about what to do so that the situation leveled off, and not trample yourself into the ground and humiliate.
If someone else walked through sore spots, hooked on self-esteem, and this led to tears, then it is better to work on your own psychological boundaries and stability of opinion. This is best done with a specialist, at least in the initial stages, until the state stabilizes a bit.
Learn to put off crying at least for a while and then over time you will notice that you can do without tears at all. Simple deep breathing techniques, switching attention to other topics help to keep the tantrum.
A lump coming up to the throat can pass if you drink a lot of water in large gulps or do at least some kind of physical exertion - sit down, wring out a couple of times, pull muscles. If none of these methods work, and the tears do not hold at all, then it makes sense to seek medical help in psycho-neurology, where a psychotherapist or psychiatrist prescribed a course of antidepressants or tranquilizers, after which individual psychotherapy would be necessary.
