Personalization is a process that arises at the stage of personal development, the fundamental task of which is to obtain an absolute understanding of the social life of others. As a result, a person will be able to act in society as a worthy and sought-after person. You can also describe the process of personalization as the transformation of the subject into a person who has found her own individuality.

Personalization is a definition in psychology, denoting the need for an individual to express himself, to show personal abilities. A person has the necessity of feeling to be useful to this world, to realize the importance of his own being, without personalization it is impossible.

What is personalization?

We all dream to find a business to our liking, to do what we will be successful in and received recognition from others and the praise of our own parents. What is the basis for the emergence of such a desire? Personalization is an essential element of the improvement and formation of the individual. Characteristic human manifestations are the need and the likelihood of personalization.

The move to personalization is the thirst to be a meaningful person. An effective way of satisfying the need for personalization is proactive assistance in the life of a society, so, as a result of activity, a person has the possibility of his own realization, showing his peculiarity to others.

The tendency to personalization is a complex of personal-psychological qualities that give a person a motivation to carry out actions important for a society, assessed in perspective by others. The development process is fueled by the internal desires of the subject, a variety of methods of implementation, which will help in the future for their own implementation. The lack of personalization in a person’s life can be a consequence of a lack of a sense of significance.

Also, this concept is interpreted as a certain number of changes made by a person in his personal environment; as a method of influencing the situation, trying to make it close to you; as the prospect of leaving a bit of their individuality in the memory of others I.A. Altman believed that by bringing personalization into the life of humanity, the individual left his personal mark on it, giving information to others about his beliefs, personal boundaries and vision.

Psychologist A.N. Leontyev explained the human person as such that can be formed due to the influence of external relations, and this happens all our life. Various manifestations of human activity border each other and intersect with social relations. It is this connection that forms the center of personality, called the "I". And the changes that his personal qualities as an individual undergo are the result of the maturation of his personality.

The benefits of personalization include positive attitudes. If a person is too critical in his perception of himself - this will be an obstacle to a comfortable existence in society and the manifestation of initiative. Self-reliance, an important aspect in the interaction with our environment. The basis for the manifestation of personalization will be the beliefs that were formed in childhood. The vital attitude of our parents, the way they see the society, no doubt we will transfer to their worldview. If attitudes from childhood carry many negatives, and the subject fully copies and applies them in his life, manifestations of depersonalization are possible.

Depersonalization is the erroneous perception by a person of his own "I", the separation of the personality from the body. It creates a sense of outside observation for themselves, their actions, thoughts and decisions are perceived as the actions of someone else. It should be noted that the connection with reality is not lost and a person in a state objectively assesses what is happening. Depersonalization is not considered a mental disorder; moreover, the manifestation of the described state occurs in 70% of people once in a lifetime. Person and personality are different in their characteristics concepts, sometimes we meet people who unfortunately could not realize themselves as a person. The full expression of the personalization abilities often manifests itself in groups. However, if the group leader has a low level of personalization, this may trigger the development of the depersonalization of other group members.

Due to the phenomenon of personalization, we have the opportunity to explain some of the experiences of people, triggered by sudden discrepancies between the interpretation of the personality and its physical absence. Such situations destroy the homogeneous personality structure.

In the process of personalization, there is little desire and initiative of one person; another response activity is needed. One of the nuances of this process is interpersonal contact. Contacting, both participants become active, the result of this is the successful development of the individual.

A.V. personalization concept Petrovsky

A.V. Petrovsky first introduced the concept of personalization, in his work he says that the human person defines himself through society, group, society. The need for personification is a foundation for analyzing development. Actually for this reason, AV Petrovsky gives the name of his concept The Theory of Personalization.

Three main stages are highlighted by the author in personalization, which influence the course of further development.

The first stage is adaptation, which is described as the absorption of generally accepted norms, rules and values by a person, forming socio-typical skills in a person.

The second stage of individualization is the formation and approval of one’s own “I”, the determination of one’s own capabilities, resources, differences and characteristics, the discovery of individuality.

And the third stage is integration - rebuilding the lives of people who surround, embedding their own values and attention in others, while having acceptance from the outside, is an affirmation of their need and, therefore, the complete formation of a person. Formation occurs smoothly, rooted in childhood and continuing to youth. A.V. Petrovsky described three periods of personalization: the era of childhood, the era of adolescence and the era of youth.

The epoch of childhood is characterized by the superiority of adaptation over individualization, the age from the moment of birth of a child to the primary school age is characterized by adaptation to the entire outside world.

In the era of adolescence enters a transitional age and individualization prevails at this time, since the adolescent is drawn to freedom, and makes every effort to search for the vocation of society. And finally, the era of youth, the importance of this period means the definition of life position, gaining independence, the choice of a future profession - self-realization. A person can plan his future, a worldview is being formed, an awareness of social status is taking place. At the end of the era of youth, social maturity is almost formed.

So, personalization is the most important process in the formation of special skills and abilities, it has an impact on a person’s position, initiative, objectively assessing his talent and inclinations, determining for himself the main role in society. A significant nuance here is the position of adults in communicating with their child. The main thing is not to give adult beliefs to negatively change the formation of the inner world in children.
